Shabbat Shalom.

Having completed a 5 day, treacherous trek to earn the gray berets of Israeli Combat Engineering Corps (ICEC), an excited young boy rushes to show appreciation to the newly graduated soldiers to who keep his family safe.

The ICEC is a special force that combines infantry and engineering. Combat Engineer Corps break barriers, dismantles land mines, plants explosives, and creates obstacles for the enemy (mines, fences, trenches, dirt, etc.) in addition they functions as a regular infantry unit and best known operation is the bridging of the Suez Canal during the Yom Kippur War.

After basic Israeli Engineering Corps training and a 5 day physical and mental conditioning exercise, the best and brightest commit to an extra year of military service and become the backbone of Israel’s elite special counter terrorism forces.
